Andrew Muir is Celebrating a Disney Christmas at The Good Guys
This Christmas, customers at The Good Guys will be sent packing – to Disneyland, following the announcement of a new partnership with the world’s most iconic family brand, Disney. Chairman Andrew Muir and his team of Good Guys plan to make stores the happiest place on earth at this special time of year.
Following the purchase of mum’s new digital camera, dad’s new surround sound or that new large flat screen for the living room, customers on the hunt for presents at The Good Guys throughout December will have the opportunity to win one of 20 family trips to Disneyland, with flights, accommodation, family passes to Disneyland and all the trimmings, included.
Mr Muir was delighted to announce the unique partnership, saying that it was a terrific way to add a little magic to customers shopping experience this Christmas.
“We are thrilled to be playing some of our favourite Disney classics in store as you shop, bop and hop around for those perfect Christmas gifts,” said Andrew. “We have all had a wonderful Disney experience at some stage and we are delighted to be bringing some of that Disney magic to every customer this Christmas.”
With 20 Family Trips on offer, customers are also in store for a few gifts of their own, with The Good Guys providing every customer who spends over $50 a Disney gift to take home.
“We know that Christmas is a time of giving, so we have collected some of our favourite things from Disney to give to our customers so that they can have a bit of Disney in their Christmas too,” he said.
The Good Guys has also partnered with Channel Nine’s Today Show to provide five Family Trips to Disneyland for viewers who go above and beyond by being good guys in their local communities.
“Through our Local Giving Program, we see many heroes throughout Australia working tirelessly to provide assistance and support to those in our community who need it the most,” said Andrew. “So we are looking forward to viewers being able to nominate a local in their community who they think would deserve a once in a lifetime trip to Disneyland, simply by doing good.”
The Good Guys Local Giving Program, which has raised over $5.5 million donated towards more than 150 local community organisations around Australia is run via The Good Guys Foundation.
